The first lighthouses were built thousands of years ago to warn sailors that they were approaching dangerous shores. Incredible though it seems in the age of information, today's lighthouses serve the very same purpose, even if the technology looks a little different. And for as long as there have been lighthouses, there have been lighthouse keepers. But they're a dying breed. Erin met one of our last remaining lighthouse keepers on the rugged Western Cape coast.
