The sewer-dwelling Penguin (Danny DeVito) teams up with cunning businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) to topple the Batman (Michael Keaton); but when Shreck's timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), uncovers the plot she is murdered. Rising again as Catwoman, she joins forces with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman.
